The Old No. 6 Ranch covers 400 acres of gently sloping land in North Central Texas. Within its high fences you'll find impressive genetic whitetail and six species of exotic game, plus a number of native critters: fox, bobcat, ringtail cat, raccoon, and jackrabbits. Feathered animals include turkey, dove, quail, chaparral, woodpeckers, and a host of local and migratory birds.
Who We Are
The six ranch owners, affectionately known as the "Del Schoveys" share a love of the outdoors, animals, and most importantly - having fun and enjoying life. We are committed to responsible stewardship of the ranch.
Aaron Scharff and Randy Covey serve as guides for our hunters. They are deeply experienced hunters, and work hard to make sure our hunts are memorable, safe, instructional, and fun.
